About Me

​

Until several years ago, I had a career in the Hospitality Industry. However, I began to feel an inner tension, sensing that world was taking me further away from my true self. I realised I wanted to find a different way of being—one that allowed me to connect more meaningfully with the people around me. I finally mustered the courage to follow what is now my passion: supporting others to make positive changes in their lives.

 

My qualifications are -

Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling. This allows me to adapt my Therapeutic approach to fit each client's unique needs.

 

Level 7 Post Graduate Course in Life Coaching. This has enabled me to broaden my client offer allowing us to look at the past, present but also where appropriate for my client, to the future with a focus on positive change. 

 

Certificate in Applied Transactional Analysis focusing on social interactions to understand communication styles and behaviour.

 

I have also attended short courses in areas such as Positive Pyschology, ADHD, Transactional Analysis, Addiction and Trauma.

 

I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists

Through my various studies I've gained valuable new skills and techniques, however I believe my previous career and the ups and downs of life also mean that I remain grounded and pragmatic in my approach to Counselling and Coaching.

When I am not in my Practice you will likely find me at my Allotment where I have my very own bee apiary! They help me to connect with nature and the cycles of the natural world around us as well as allowing me to enjoy the sweet fruits of their labour from time to time!
